It was the year of Italian HOUSE last year, wasn't it?? And, of course, it's been still bursting the popularity this year as well. But we think now is the time we recommend something new!! So let me introduce you GERMAN HOUSE!!! OK? Speaking of Germany, there're tons of great artists of TECHNO or ELECTRONICA, who are well appreciated here in Japan. But you know what, many cool DISCO ELECTRO HOUSE trackers have been released one after another. CASA ROSSO is one of such a notable and lively labels in Hamburg, which have been gathering the popularity!! This label is offshoot by SILLY SPIDER MUSIC that has started since 2002. They've introduced many brightest hopes in new GERMAN HOUSE scene, besides they've got license releases from PAUL JOHNSON, WHO DAFUNK, AXWELL(MAMBANA), KIKO(SINEMA).
With SYKE&SUGARSTARR(*PHOTO) at the head of
the list, the label has released M/S/I/TEAM(aka SHARP DISPLAY, GIPSY etc.), SHARAM JEY(SOUNDZ FRESH) also released on MILK&SUGAR, a new comer HORNY UNITED. Their works are so splendid and massive, it reminds us of the works by UK HOUSE artists like BASEMENT JAXX, SPACE COWBOY, TIM DELUXE, and the labels like NORMAN COOK's SOUTHERN FRIED, SKEEWIFF's ILLIGAL BEATS, or Italian HOUSE scene(like PLANET FUNK, PHYNK INVESTIGATION and the label, OXYD, LOUD BIT,Q;POINT etc.) They are absolutely younger generations than nowadays big producers like TONKA, IAN POOLEY, MILK&SUGAR.. And the sounds are groovy, cracking, delicious 2004 flavor absorbing Germany unique sense of humor and pop music, favored with ELECTRO, HOUSE sounds after IBIZA, MIAMI, and also 80's revivals... Oh!!! Sorry there's no space for other artists... but we're sure that this scene gets your attraction!!! Keep an eye on GERMAN HOUSE!!!
